Windows
Supported target platforms are Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 (all 32 bit and 64 bit).
Reference Platforms
Qt has been tested with following compilers/configurations:
- Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 x86 (ANGLE build)
- Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack 1 x64 (ANGLE build)
- Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 x86 (OpenGL build)
- Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 x86 (OpenGL build)
- MinGW-builds 4.8.0 x86 (OpenGL build).
Supported Platforms
Supported compilers are:
- MSVC 2010, MSVC 2012, MSVC2013 (all x86 and x86_64)
- MinGW-builds 4.7.2 x86, MinGW-builds 4.8.0 x86.

MinGW gcc 64 bit: Could compile with MinGW-builds 4.8.0 x64
Planned Changes
Any planned changes are tentative.
Qt 5.3: Add a newer version of MinGW-builds (e.g. based on gcc 4.9.0 if available) to list of supported platforms. Qt 5.4: Drop MinGW-builds gcc 4.7.2 from the list of supported platforms.
