Error: Undefined symbols within QtGui.so in PyQt5
Before the migration to this wiki, hagen23 and iugo reported a similar problem in PyQt4:
http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/51029/
I would suspect that their solution would be the same.
Problem:
Python 2.7.3 (default, Mar 18 2014, 05:13:23) [GCC 4.6.3] on linux2 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> from PyQt5 import QtGui
Results in:
Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/PyQt5/QtGui.so: undefined symbol: _ZNK14QSurfaceFormat10testOptionENS_12FormatOptionE Hopefully their solution will apply to PyQt5
Thanks all.
