How to see the version number of the package to be installed

You can find version number of the package to be installed from 'New Version' column. And note: You might need to expand the installer window to see all columns
Installing snapshot (or pre-release) via online installer

1. Download latest online installer from qt.io/download or from QtAccount & start the installer

2. Insert your qt account details (or skip those in case you don't have ones)

3. Select installation directory

4. Select snapshot to be installed from component tree view. Note: Most probably you should install only the targets you really need.

5. Accept the license

6. Select 'Install'

7. After installation close the installer by pressing 'Finish'.
Update new snapshot (or new pre-release) to the existing online installation
NOTE: Please make sure there is already installed snapshot(or pre-release) in the online installation.

1. Open maintenance tool

2. Insert login details. Note: Use same ones as with original installation! And this view is optional & not shown if login details was skipped in original installation.

3. Select 'Update components'

4. Select updates. Defaults are usually best option!

5. Select 'Update'

6. Close MaintenanceTool by selecting 'Finish'
Adding snapshot (or pre-release) to the existing online installation
NOTE: Please make sure there isn't already installed snapshot(or pre-release) in the online installation.

1. Open maintenance tool

2. Insert login details. Note: Use same ones as with original installation! And this view is optional & not shown if login details was skipped in original installation.

3. Select 'Add or remove components'

4. Select components to install.

5. Select 'Update'

6. Close MaintenanceTool by selecting 'Finish'
